About Us at Northwest Truck Repair
Our Story
Owner JR Moore started out in 2018 with just a service van and a dream. He traded an engine and transmission to get his first van, bought some tools, and hit the road as a mobile mechanic. Over three years, he's done everything from big engine jobs to roadside rescues. When a friend’s long-running shop went up for sale, JR stepped in. In January 2021, he took over a shop that had been part of Kalispell since 1975—and made it his own.

Today, Northwest Truck Repair operates from a 7-bay facility at 1200 E Oregon Ln, with a team of five skilled technicians. We’re a tight-knit, veteran-owned business that puts people first. Whether you need a fast repair or a full inspection, our priority is getting you back on the road safely and quickly.
